Tour della Tenuta
Difficult: EASY

The Costa dei Gabbiani is a wild stretch located on the east coast of the island of Elba, dominated by Monte Calamita and the homonymous trail network of Capoliveri Bike Park. The name derives from the presence of the gull, which lives on this stretch of coast and nidifies it.
The vegetation is composed of high cliffs overlooking the sea (the summit of Monte Calamita, Garitta, reaches 400m above sea level) and many small coves and small beaches, mostly private within the Tour della Tenuta. In fact, when you arrive at Tenuta delle Ripalte, you will not be able to continue with motorized vehicles, at least if you are not a guest of the structure.

TENUTA'S BEACHES

Spiaggia Remaiolo Isola d'Elba The tip of Remaiolo delimits the homonymous beach, sheltering it from the winds. The beach, large and private, is bathed by the sea, from which emerges the rock of Remaiolo. Here you can rent beach umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as canoes, skates and equipment from the Diving Center.
The beach of the Ginepro is one of the most beautiful beach of the Island of Elba, composed of dark sand, guarantees a warm temperature even in the warmer months. Large and bright, accessible via a steep path that reaches the sea. Behind him a rocky wall, used for climbing.  Spiaggia del Ginepro Isola d'Elba
Spiaggia Calanova Isola d'Elba The Calanova Beach can enjoy a pleasant location, with headlands covered by the Mediterranean vegetation and a large pine forest, where you can find a little shade during the hottest days. There is also a small pier for pleasure boating. An uncrowded place, but where there is everything you need for a quiet day at the beach: sunbeds, umbrellas, restaurant and bar.
In this beach you will find transparent and beautiful backdrops, with a lush Mediterranean vegetation behind the beach, for a pleasant natural shade on the hottest days. Buzzancone beach is also a popular destination for boaters.  Spiaggia Buzzancone Isola d'Elba
Spiaggia Sassi Neri Isola d'Elba The beach of Sassi Neri consists of three coves, very similar, small stamps of beaches created by the waves between the boulders of the now disused local mine. Behind it is an emerald green lake, surrounded by a beautiful reed bed, for guaranteed privacy.
Istia Beach is located next to the Calanova beach. A large and beautiful pine forest behind it allows you to cool off on the hottest days. The beach is mostly composed of medium-sized sand and small pebbles. There is a small kiosk for the sale of drinks and ice cream and is the headquarters of the new Sailing Center of the Estate.  Spiaggia Istia Isola d'Elba
Spiaggia dello Stagnone Isola d'Elba The beach of the Stagnone is a suggestive bay, characterized by a transparent sea, two small beaches open up. The coves are two little gems of nature made of sand and gravel with the presence of some boulders. The one to the north is surrounded by rocks that create a small and shallow natural pool, "the Stagnone", a distinctive feature of this corner of the Elbe.
