The Costa dei Gabbiani Bike Center was born in 2015, which in 2020 changes its name to Bike Center Elba, always remaining in the splendid Tenuta delle Ripalte on the Costa dei Gabbiani. The Tenuta delle Ripalte is included in the Capoliveri Bike Park area, and is surrounded by a dense network of trails, which extend from the sea to the top of Mount Calamita (413 m), suitable for all types of bikers, from beginners to riders more experienced. At the reach of mountain biking, without even having to travel a meter on asphalt, there are therefore about 100 km of dirt roads and single track overlooking the sea (well kept and marked) that allow you to discover an island of Elba absolutely unspoiled and wild . The small number of motor vehicles authorized to access the Park also contributes to give a pleasant feeling of safety and well-being in the uncontaminated nature.
In our Bike Center you can find a full program of guided tours (spectacular the Tour of Mines with a visit inside), Bike Rental (Front, Full-Suspension and E-bike) and MTB Lessons, both for beginners and for experts. Our center's partner is Specialized with its TurboLevo and Turbo Kenevo. And, thanks to the Tenuta delle Ripalte, possibility to stay overnight in this natural oasis!
The Bike Center is also equipped with a workshop and spare parts for routine maintenance and during the year various camps and stages are planned with MTB professionals.
From Capoliveri starts a splendid panoramic road that in 9km (7km of dirt road) leads to the Costa dei Gabbiani Bike Center! From the top of Capoliveri, where there is a doctor, there is a roundabout: follow for Tenuta delle Ripalte (3rd exit), do not get off at the 2nd exit towards the Innamorata (many surfers drop off). In about twenty minutes you have arrived. The dirt road is well kept and is the added value of our place, not a malus!
